Sandeep Singh scored the goal off a penalty corner. Singh who had a double hat trick against Poland increased his tournament tally to 15 goals with that goal. Soon after the second half India scored a third goal through Tushar Handker. India doubled their tally in the second half with Tushar scoring a hat trick as the visitors led 4-0.
