India wins first match of Champions Challenge

Kuala Lumpur:

Dhanraj Pillay returning to international hockey after a long layoff scored in the 47th minute as India beat Belgium 1-0 in its first match of the Champions Challenge in Kuala Lumpur. The top two teams from this event qualify for the prestigious Champions Trophy next year.
