India kicked off their campaign in the four-nation 2004 Hockey Australia Challenger tournament beating Malaysia 4-1.

India kicked off their campaign in the four-nation 2004 Hockey Australia Challenger tournament beating Malaysia 4-1 today. Len Aiyappa scored the first of his two goals in the 19th minute, while Deepak Thakur and Prabhjot Singh gave the Indians a two-goal buffer after 32 minutes. India will take on hosts Australia in their next match on Friday.
