Doha Asiad: India beat Bangladesh

Doha:

The Indian men's hockey team has got off to a good start at the 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. They beat Bangladesh 6-0 in their first preliminary round encounter. Skipper Dilip Tirkey scored a hat-trick for India, converting three penalty corners. But what should be more heartening for the Men in Blue should be this drag-flick conversion by young VR Raghunath. Shivendra Singh and Adam Sinclair scored the other two for India. The two finalists at this event will qualify for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
