Indian Hockey Federation's Senior Vice President Narinder Batra has demanded the resignation of President KPS Gill.

Chennai:

Indian Hockey Federation's Senior Vice President Narinder Batra has demanded the resignation of President KPS Gill. Batra, who has been locked in a legal battle to oust Gill, said the super cop should quit following India's disastrous performance in the Champions Trophy. India, which was hosting the event, finished sixth out of the six teams after losing to Pakistan in Chennai on Sunday. The team has failed to qualify for the next edition of the elite event which features the six best teams in the world. Batra said Gill should be required to resign because of his irrational behaviour, including the cancellation of all domestic tournaments in India to let the team prepare for the Champions Trophy.
