India will aim for at least a podium finish when they take on Korea in the bronze medal match of the 16th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament.

Ipoh:

Having lost the opportunity to play in the final, India will aim for at least a podium finish when they take on Korea in the bronze medal match of the 16th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament.

Malaysia snatched an exciting 2-1 win over India on Friday to join Australia in the final.

However, coach Joaquim Carvalho says the team has put that disappointment behind them to focus on third place.

This in itself will be a big achievement for the team, considering how young and relatively inexperienced the squad is.

India had finished third in the eight-nation tournament last year as well.
