The Indian juggernaut continued to roll in Chennai. Joaquim Carvalho's side blanked Thailand 16-0 in their last league engagement to qualify for the semis as the top team in group B.

Drag-flicker V Raghunath found the net six times, with Prabhjot Singh and Rajpal Singh also registering their hat-tricks.

India's all-win record and their 15 points from five matches set up a semi-final clash with Japan.

Malaysia meanwhile will take on Korea in the other semi, which will also be held on Saturday.

A bad result for Pakistan though, as they failed to make it to the medal round for the first time in Asia Cup history.
