ENG vs IND 5th Test, Day 2:

We are all set for the third innings. The England players have made their way out in the middle. Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara will start with their blades. James Anderson comes to bowl.
... Third Innings ...
For India, it was a combined bowling effort from their pacers! All of the 4 pacers had a wicket at least. Bumrah was the one who started things. Siraj always managed to pick a wicket whenever the team needed it. Shami probably bowled the best, he was a tad unlucky but still managed to get important breakthroughs. There was a time the Indian bowlers were put under pressure but they came out well in that phase.
The lead could have been a lot more had it not been for Bairstow. His ton is what has given England's score some respect. Just two batters managed to cross the 30-run mark. At one time they were reeling at 5 down for below 100. Bairstow along with Stokes first and then Billings helped them avoid the follow-on and also got the deficit down considerably.
The session started off in the same manner as the last one ended! Bairstow and Billings started off from where they left off before the delay. Bairstow got to yet another ton and the two put the Indian bowlers under great pressure. Once Bairstow fell though, the lower order did not last for long and India made quick work of the last few wickets and have given themselves a lead of 132!
With that debatable decision, the England inning has come to an end. India have done brilliantly to get a massive lead of 132 runs and they have put themselves into an excellent position here.
OUT! CAUGHT! England are all out for 284! On a length and outside off, Matthew Potts looks to push it towards the off side but gets a thick outside edge as the ball carries towards the second slip fielder where Shreyas Iyer takes it in his second attempt. Umpires decide to go upstairs. The soft signal is out. The ball seemed to have touched the ground but the decision goes in favour of the umpires. Strange. A mix of boos and cheers from the crowd. Potts shakes his head as he returns. That's a debatable decision.
Has that been taken? India are claiming it but it is referred upstairs.
SIX! Matthew Potts is playing a bit of a cameo here! This one is dispatched over the square leg boundary for a maximum. Mohammed Siraj goes back of a length but the ball does not rise as much as he wanted. Sits up nicely for Matthew Potts to get a hold of it! England trail by 132 runs now!
FOUR! England is being stubborn here! Mohammed Siraj bowls this one short angling down leg, Matthew Potts does not get a hold of it but still manages to make it run to fine leg boundary for four more runs!
Touch fuller and outside off again, James Anderson looks to defend it but gets beaten on the outside edge.
Touch fuller and on middle this time, James Anderson blocks it away towards the off side.
This one lands on a length and just outside off nipping it in, James Anderson dances down the track to play at it but misses again. This is excellent bowling from Mohammad Shami.
This was similar to the last delivery, James Anderson looks to block it but misses again.
Goes outside off again, James Anderson looks to block it but misses.
On a length and outside off, Matthew Potts swings his bat but the ball hits the upper part of the bat and carries towards the vacant mid off region.
Slightly shorter and wide from the stumps, James Anderson gets a thickish edge past slip. There is a half-stop from the slip fielder which allows the batters to take a couple of runs.
Mohammed Siraj comes 'round the wicket now and bowls a beauty of a delivery. Gets the ball to pitch on off stump and shape away, and beats James Anderson on the inside edge as he plays wide from his body.
FOUR! Strays down the leg side this time and James Anderson gets a tickle onto this one and plays it to the fine leg boundary to get England some valuable runs!
What is happening here? Mohammed Siraj is celebrating a wicket but Virat Kohli is saying it is not out. The umpire agrees and Mohammed Siraj looks stunned. Excellent delivery bowled on a good length, shaping away from the left-handed batter. James Anderson is beaten all ends up but manages not to nick it.
Siraj is bowling with fire! Aiming for the stumps on a good length. James Anderson covers the stumps and fends the ball towards the leg side.
OUT! TIMBER! Siraj has yet another one! The last recognized batter is out of here! This is on a length and around off, jags back in a touch. Billings looks to guide it down to third man as he tries to play it with an open face. It is against the movement though. The ball hits the inside edge and then smashes into the stumps. England still trail by 149 runs.
Sharp yorker down the leg side, Matthew Potts defends it to mid on.
FOUR! On a length and on leg, Matthew Potts flicks it in the gap between mid on and mid-wicket for a boundary.

Serves it on a length and outside off, Potts mistimes his shot back to Shami.
Wide called for height! A bouncer, around leg, Potts moves away and Pant jumps to collect it.
Edged but safe! A length ball, around off, straightening a bit, Matthew Potts tries to play straight but it takes the outside edge and drops in front of Shreyas Iyer at second slip.
Gets behind the line and blocks it towards the bowler.
The batter has just blocked that from his crease.
Swing and a miss! Short and around off, Matthew Potts gives the charge, aiming for the long on fence but connects only with thin air.
FOUR! Shortish ball, around leg, Matthew Potts goes on his toes and somehow tries to work it away. It pings him on the gloves and races away to the fine leg fence.
A bumper, targeting the body, Billings fails to sway away and takes a blow on his body. End of a successful over.
On a length and outside off, Sam Billings drives it through covers and picks up a couple of runs.
Matthew Potts walks into bat.
OUT! CAUGHT! Siraj bowls short, outside off at 141 kph, Stuart Broad hangs back to pull but it takes the top edge and goes straight up in the air. Rishabh Pant rushes forward from his mark and accepts the skier easily. Two quick wickets for India and now the English tail has been exposed. The hosts trail by 168 runs.
