Vijay Singh maintains lead

Fiji's Vijay Singh shot a one-under-par 69 to lead after the third round of the Byron Nelson Championship on Saturday.

Texas: Fiji's Vijay Singh overcame blustery conditions to shoot a one-under-par 69 and continued to hold off his challengers during the third round of the Byron Nelson Championship on Saturday. Singh, the world number seven who is seeking to win for the second time on the PGA Tour this season, stands on an 11-under-par total of 199 and holds a one-stroke lead over first round leader Jeff Sluman, who shot a 68. Cameron Beckman and Britain's Luke Donald, who both carded 67s, are tied for third at nine-under 201, while Zimbabwe's Nick Price and Sweden's Per-Ulrik Johansson are on an eight-under total of 202.
