Sluman holds one-shot lead in Memorial

Jeff Sluman shot his best round of the year, a 7-under 65, to take a one-shot lead in the Memorial at Muirfield Village on Thursday.

Jeff Sluman shot his best round of the year, a 7-under 65, to take a one-shot lead in the Memorial at Muirfield Village on Thursday. The 47-year-old took only 24 putts and had three birdies on the par 3s for a one-shot lead over Rory Sabbatini going in to Friday's second round. Adam Scott and Joe Ogilvie were among a group of eight players another shot back at 5-under 67. (AP)
