New Delhi:
On Wednesday, India's Shiv Kapur was invited for next month's prestigious Quinn British Masters. Kapur will be the only Indian taking part in the 1.8 million pound Masters at The De Vere Belfry golf course. Kapur earns a berth for himself following his consistent showings in European Tour events earlier this season. In 12 appearances this season so far, Kapur has made 10 cuts with a tied seventh place at the Indonesia Open being his best. Kapur, who is ranked 11th in the UBS Asian Order of Merit, hopes his British Masters experience will also be useful in tuning up for the British Open in July.
