Beijing: Rahil Gangjee has won the inaugural $300,000 Volkswagen Masters in China, defeating Mo Joong-kyung of Korea in a playoff at Pine Valley Golf Club in Beijing. This is Gangjee's maiden Asian Tour golf title. This was only the fourth event on the Asian Tour for the 25-year old from Kolkatans, the event makes him richer by $48,450. The 25-year-old Indian and the Korean finished tied on 15-under-par 273 after rounds of 68 and 66 respectively. But Rahil clinched the first sudden-death play-off hole with a par on the 18th hole.
