Immelman leads after Volvo 3rd round

Trevor Immelman shot an 8-under-par 64 to take a two-shot lead in the third round of the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth on Saturday.

Virginia Water, England : Trevor Immelman of South Africa birdied the last three holes for an 8-under-par 64 to take a two-shot lead in the third round of the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth on Saturday. The South African Open champion was on a 14-under-par total of 202, two ahead of Niclas Fasth of Sweden, who carded a 68. Immelman's countryman, Ernie Els, held a share of third place on 205 after a 67 despite three successive bogeys on the front nine. He was tied with Ignacio Garrido of Spain, who shot 66. Behind them on 10-under 206 are England's Paul Casey, who also carded a 64, Mathias Gronberg of Sweden, who had a 67, and Scottish veteran Gordon Brand Jr., who returned a 68. (AP)
