Kruger Park, South Africa:

A little-known Zimbabwean holds the lead after Thursday's first round of the Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek in South Africa. Twenty-three-year-old Bruce McDonald shot a 6-under par 66 to lead by a stroke over tournament favourite Ernie Els. The world number three is himself a shot ahead of a group of four players - including fellow South African James Kamte and England's Neil Cheetham - on four under par. (AP)
