Chopra tied with Woods

Bethesda: Daniel Chopra struggled through the day with five bogeys and just two birdies as he finished his first round with a three-over 73 that left him tied 77th at the AT&T National.

The lead was held by a bunch of five players, including K J Choi of Korea, Fiji's Vijay Singh, Joe Ogilvie, Jim Furyk and Stuart Appleby.
