Augusta Masters: Jeev makes cut

Ace Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh made a dream debut at the Augusta Masters, carding a creditable level-par 72 to be placed above the likes of Woods.

Most Indian sports fans who would have been depressed after the cricket teams performance at the World Cup finally have something to cheer about.

Jeev Milkha Singh the first Indian to play the Augusta Masters made us proud by making the halfway cut.

The Chandigarh golfer shot a two over in his second round to end up at a tournament total of three over par at the halfway stage.

Jeev who ended up with six bogeys and three birdies managed to keep a clean slate as regards the major.

He has now made the cut at every one he has played. The last being the US open last year.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods also made the cut on the same score as Jeev with a second round score of two over.
