Atwal finishes one point behind Woods

Arjun Atwal finished tied for fourth at nine under par, just one shot behind Tiger Woods at the Buick Invitational.

Arjun Atwal finished tied for fourth at nine under par, just one shot behind Tiger Woods at the Buick Invitational. Atwal, the only Indian to have a PGA tour card shot into contention in the third round with a great round. But the tournament clearly belonged to Woods, who made simple pars to win a three-way playoff against Australian rookie Nathan Green and two-time Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal. For Woods, it was the fourth time in 10 years that he won in his first US PGA Tour event of the year.
