New Delhi:

Narain Karthikeyan has carried India's Formula 1 dreams on his shoulders ever since he made it to the circuit in 2005.

So, one would imagine that winning a race at the A1 Grand Prix wouldn't rank as one of the biggest wins of his career.

But that victory in China last week has helped him answer those critics who challenged his status as the fastest Indian on wheels.

And he is all set to barge back into F-1 racing, which he calls unfinished business.

A1 Grand Prix driver Narain Karthikeyan has assured A1 Team India his total commitment during the 2008-09 season and he expects a top-six finish in all the races next year. "I am committed to the AI Grand Prix for 2008-09. All 24 cars will be Ferrari cars," he said.

Karthikeyan was the first Indian to drive for a F1 team, Team Jordan Toyota, which made him the race driver for the 2005-6 season.

"F1 is unfinished business and I will do both parallel at the moment committed to A1. I will try to build a strong team. Any win at this level helps the profile and takes confidence to its peak. I will carry on the momentum," Karthikeyan said.

Commenting on whether Chandhok is a feasible option on an older Karthikeyan, he said, "Karun has matured every since. He has to deliver."
