Juan Pablo Montoya took pole position Saturday for the European Grand Prix, clocking a fastest lap time of one minute, 29.906 seconds. BMW-Williams teammate Ralf Schumacher took second place on the starting grid, finishing less than one-hundredth of a second behind the Colombian. Ralf's elder brother Michael Schumacher was third quickest in 1:30.035. He was to start Sunday's race next to Ferrari teammate Rubens Barrichello, who had the fourth best time. (AP)
