Corsica:
Markko Martin of Estonia won three of four special stages on Saturday to take the overall lead from Belgian Francois Duval in the French leg of the World Rally Championship on the island Corsica. Championship leader Sebastien Loeb finished more than a minute behind Martin in third place. But the Frenchman, who only needs to better Petter Solberg's time to win the world title, is a comfortable three minutes and 20 seconds ahead of his Norwegian rival with just one day of racing to go. If he wins, then he will become the first Frenchman to clinch the world crown since Didier Auriol in 1994. (AP)Topics mentioned in this article
