Monza:

Tata Carlin Team motorsport driver and the fastest Indian, Narain Karthikeyan, has finished third in both races at Monza in the Superfund Nissan World Series Championship. Despite a painful inflammation in his lower back, Karthikeyan took third place. The team increased its points for second in the Championship. Karthikeyan's sterling driving places him one position higher in the all-important drivers' Championship, into second place overall. Meanwhile, JK Tyres' Karun Chandhok, who is still in his prime, finished third in the 12th race of the British Formula 3 (scholarship) event at Castle Combe circuit in England to remain in the third spot in overall positions.
