What makes the beautiful game even more beautiful is the fact that it's the game of the masses.

Athens:

What makes the beautiful game even more beautiful is the fact that it's the game of the masses. And promoting it for yet another beautiful cause was Zinedine Zidane in Athens.

The football legend along with international humanitarian organisation 'Right To Play' and the Adi Dassler Fund hopes to use football as a means to bring about a positive change in the lifes of some of the world's most vulnerable children.

"So football, sport, and 'Right to play', is a way to show them that it's ok for them to forget about. Well, about all the problems they have to deal with everyday and that's it's ok to just focus on the game, to hope for a better life, for a better world and to show them that there are people out there who care about them," said Zidane.

The 'Red ball' is to this initiative what the Livestrong band is to Lance Armstrong's cancer programme.

Replicas of mini red balls will be sold in all Adidas stores at approximately Rs 300 later this year. Manufacturing partner Adidas, in fact, has pledged to give all the proceeds back to the 'Right To Play' programmes. So, with Zidane at the helm, the programme is sure to be a huge success.
