West Ham's relegation worries and the pressure on manager Glenn Roeder, increased significantly after a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Southampton on Monday. The only goal of the game came 71 seconds into injury time, courtesy the recently prolific scoring boot of James Beattie. Neither team improved its position and West Ham stay rooted to the bottom of the Premiership. (AP)
