Werder Bremen face the difficult task of defending a 3-2 lead in their Champions League round of 16 second leg match against Juventus in Turin on Tuesday. Juve coach Fabio Capello is hoping to put out his strongest team, although there's still some doubt surrounding the fitness of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Juventus are coming off a 1-0 league win over Sampdoria, which maintained their 10-point lead at the top of Serie A. The victory was achieved without strikers David Trezeguet and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. If the Swedish striker is unavailable, Alessandro Del Piero is likely to partner Trezeguet up front. Juve, which is aiming for its fourth league title in five seasons, last won the Champions League in 1996 when it beat Ajax on penalties. In the first leg in Bremen two weeks ago, Juventus led 2-1 until the 87th minute when Tim Borowski and Johan Micoud scored inside five minutes. Juventus coach, Fabio Capello, is confident his team is good enough to progress to the final eight, despite the first leg result. (AP)
