Chile's Hector Mancilla scored in the 68th minute for Veracruz to surprise Mexican Apertura leader Toluca 3-2 on Sunday.Goals by Colombian Tressor Moreno in the 10th and Braulio Luna in the 23rd gave Veracruz a 2-0 lead.Toluca came back through Carlos Morales' penalty kick in the 36th and Alejandro Almazan's goal in the 54th but lost only its second match of the season.It was the first road victory for Veracruz since March 18. In Sunday's only other soccer match, Atlas and Santos drew 1-1.Toluca leads the standings with 21 points, one more than Chiapas, then Atlas on 19, and America on 18.On Saturday, Chivas of Guadalajara ended a three-game winless run by defeating America 2-0, courtesy of goals in a two-minute span by Adolfo Bautista and Alberto Medina. It's been more than two years since America last beat Guadalajara.In Aguascalientes, Hugo Sanchez's debut as the coach of Necaxa started well with a 2-1 win over Tecos.Sanchez, returned to coaching after a year off, received his first victory thanks to scores by Andres Olivera and Alfredo Moreno. Carlos Casartelli scored for Tecos.Also, Pumas drew Gallos Blancos 1-1, San Luis defeated Cruz Azul 1-0, Monterrey beat Morelia 2-0, Jaguares upset Atlante 1-0, and Pachuca routed Tigres 5-0. (AP)
