Senegal scored two first-half goals to beat Norway 2-1 in a friendly on Wednesday.

Senegal scored two first-half goals to beat Norway 2-1 in a friendly on Wednesday. Senegal midfielder Moussa Ndiaye opened the scoring in the 20th minute, and the hosts made it 2-0 in the 37th through Babacar Gueye's long-range shot. Norway pulled a goal back in the 42nd when Ole Martin Arst went through the defence after some coordinated teamwork. Senegal defender Lamine Diata almost scored in the sixth minute when he dribbled through the Norwegian defence, but goalkeeper Thomas Myhre saved well. The game was stopped for 20 minutes due to a blackout, but electricity was restored and the final minutes of the match were played.
