Gelsenkirchen:

This Sunday FC Schalke play host to the mighty Bayern Munich in a match that could be key in deciding who eventually takes the Bundesliga title this season. The two teams are tied at the top of the table on 50 points after 24 rounds but Bayern have a better goal difference. Schalke beat Bayern 1-0 in Munich earlier in the season and a second win would bring them close to their first Bundesliga title in 47 years. With it being so tight at the top of the table many feel that although Sunday's match will not decide the championship, it will certainly have a major bearing on it. But the Schalke coach Ralf Rangnick feels that whatever the result there will still be plenty to play for. (AP)
