Valencia:

Valencia forward Mario Regueiro tore a cruciate ligament in his left knee on Thursday and will be sidelined for seven months. Regueiro suffered the injury in a collision with teammate Ruben Baraja during training. The Uruguay international, who missed three weeks with a damaged collarbone earlier this season, is the 10th player ruled out of Valencia's league visit to Recreativo Huelva on Saturday. Edu and Jaime Gavilan are sidelined with the same injury as Regueiro, while David Villa, Fernando Morientes, David Albelda, Asier Del Horno, Carlos Marchena, Emiliano Moretti and Miguel Brito are also out. Baraja, Vicente Rodriguez and David Navarro have only recently returned from layoffs. Valencia, which hasn't won in five games, is eighth in the Spanish league with 18 points from 12 games. (AP)
