Real Madrid held their final training session in Rome on Tuesday evening ahead of their must-win Champions League match against Roma on Wednesday night. A UEFA punishment means the Italians have to play their home game in front of an empty Olympic stadium and Real Madrid's all-stars are expected to be too good for a weakened Roma line-up. Real Madrid came to Rome with the clear aim of finishing in the top two in the Group B Champions League standings. Roma are already eliminated and will play just for their honour and possibly to favour Real's direct rivals, Bayer Leverkusen. Real Madrid and Leverkusen are both on eight points in Group B, while Dynamo Kiev top the standings on 10 points. Real Madrid, coached by Mariano Garcia Ramon, are confident they can win for the third successive time against Roma, while the home team's coach Luigi Del Neri is promising a tough match for the Spanish team.
