The much-awaited El Classico or the Spanish Primera Liga clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona ended in a 2-0 win for Real. The victory helps Fabio Capello's men, who are currently fourth in the standings, close the gap between them and league-leaders Barcelona to just two points. Talismanic skipper Raul gave Real the lead three minutes into the game, before Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored the winner five minutes into the second half.
