Two of the best soccer teams in the world will be going head to head on Thursday night at the Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Real Madrid, the 2002 European Champions will take on AS Roma, 2001 Serie A Champions. "We hoped we would have had a weaker competition but unfortunately it is a very strong one," said Vicente Del Bosque, Manager, Real Madrid. According to Roma Coach Fabio Capello, things may have been friendly at the press conference but come Thursday night and it would be a different story. The last time these two teams played was on September 11 of last year, a day not forgotten by both teams. "We come to hopefully bring a lot of happiness and expect that the stadium is full and play to the best of our ability and hopefully have a great turnout," said Fernando Hierro, Player, Real Madrid & Spain. The match not only honours the 100-year anniversary of Real Madrid but will raise money for the United Nations Global AIDS fund.
