Regarded as one of the country's most popular clubs, their fans have had little to cheer about in recent years as they witnessed their team struggle both on and off the pitch. Now though they have financial stability and Racing stand on top of the Apertura, eight points above their nearest rivals. The club has won six national titles but the last of those came back in 1967.
