A vicious brawl between the players broke out after a football game in Ecuador.

Quito:

A vicious brawl between the players broke out after a football game in Ecuador. The incident took place after a draw between club LDU and Barcelona on Sunday. The players forgot about the ball and went after each other quite literally this time. Seen as one of the worst cases of football violence in Ecuador, the incident is said to have started with a clash between former Ecuador striker Agustin Delgado and his marker Victor Montoya. Four Barcelona players were injured while 11 players have been banned up to a year after the brawl.
