Paris:

Paris Saint-Germain won 2-1 at Nantes in Thursday's French Cup semifinals on a volley by Pedro Pauleta with four minutes remaining and will meet archrival Marseille in the title match. Marseille beat Rennes 3-0 at home earlier on Thursday. Pauleta set up Fabrice Pancrate to give PSG the lead in the 68th minute, but Nantes equalized four minutes later on a header by Mauro Cetto. But in the 86th minute, the Portuguese striker struck the winning volley on a pass from midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo. At Marseille's Stade Velodrome, midfielder Frank Ribery scored in the first minute and Nigerian defender Taye Taiwo and forward Mamadou Niang added goals before halftime. Marseille and PSG will meet in the final April 29 at the Stade de France in Paris. The teams share the record of having won 10 French Cup titles each. (AP)
