Paris:

Marseille is determined not to lose standout midfielder Franck Ribery with several English clubs inquiring about him. But a Marseille spokesman said on Tuesday that the English Premier League teams have yet to make an offer for the France under-21 midfielder. The 22-year-old Ribery has scored five league goals for Marseille this season, and is tipped for a call-up to Raymond Domenech's France team. In an interview with sports daily L'Equipe, Marseille president Pape Diouf said the club will keep him. "We have reached an accord with the player and his representative,'' Diouf said. "Franck Ribery is not transferable. We are determined to make him one of the key players of Marseille's future.'' Diouf, meanwhile, said Marseille is still keen on Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse. "He (Cisse) could be our ideal recruit. He has said himself that Marseille would suit him,'' Diouf said.
