London: It is really hotting up at the top of the table in the English Premier League with all the top three teams registering wins. Defending Champions Manchester United travelled to Elland Road to take on Leeds United, still trying to maintain their title challenge. Nine minutes gone and Paul Scholes had put United in front after a good cross from the left by Mikeal Silvestre. But Leeds came back strongly. Lee Bowyer came in with a strong run and a clinical finish from Mark Viduka changed the score line to 1-1.But it was United's afternoon and two goals in two minutes from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it seem like it was all over. Into the second half, a blistering run from David Beckham allowed Ryan Giggs to make it 4-1.But again Leeds refused to let up. Harte's free kick reduced the deficit to 4-2. Then from a Robbie Fowler mis-kick Lee Bowyer made it 4-3 with just 10 mins remaining. United, however, managed to hold on for the win.Liverpool vs CharltonLiverpool played Charlton Athletic at home hoping to push Arsenal and Manchester United to the wire in the championship race. And with 23 minutes gone, Vladimir Smicer headed home a Danny Murphy free-kick to give the Reds a 1-0 lead.Thirteen minutes later and Nicolas Anelka's cross from the right was tapped to Michael Owen in the area who made no mistake to put Liverpool up 2-0 inside the first half and that's how it would end.Arsenal vs SunderlandArsenal played Sunderland at home and inside two minutes Patrick Viera took advantage of some sloppy defending from Joachim Bjorklund to put the Gunners up 1-0. Two minutes later Dennis Bergkamp had made it 2-0 after making the most of a Thierry Henry Pass.Kevin Phillips had a chance to reduce the deficit but his woeful miss epitomised Sunderland's disastrous season. Into the second half and Sylvian Wiltord cooly stroked home Arsenal's third from a delightful pass from Bergkamp. With all top three teams winning there is no change in the table with Liverpool leading the pack although Arsenals two games may just make the difference at the end of the season.
