Michael Owen scored two goals as Liverpool beat West Ham 2-0 on Saturday to open up a seven-point lead atop the Premier League. Liverpool has 30 points, seven ahead of Arsenal. Liverpool has now only lost once in its last 28 league games and is the only team without loss in the Premier League this season. In Manchester, a late goal by Diego Forlan gave United a 2-1 win over Southampton. United is now third in the standings with 22 points, one ahead of Chelsea. (AP)
