Juventus became the second team to qualify for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League on matchday four, which saw records tumble.

Juventus became the second team to qualify for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League on matchday four, which saw records tumble. Juventus are guaranteed a top two place in their group after a 0-0 draw at Real Sociedad. Real remain second. Olympiakos beat Galatasaray 3-0 in the same group. But it was Monaco that produced one of the greatest UEFA matches, as they thrashed Deportivo La Coruna 8-3. It was the most number of goals scored by a team in this competition and the highest goal tally. Monaco replace Deportivo on top of their group with PSV Eindhoven a point behind after a 2-0 win over AEK Athens. Olympique Lyonnais top their group after a 2-1 win over Bayern Munich. Celtic are second after a 3-1 triumph against Anderlecht. Arsenal got a dying minute goal to beat Dinamo Kiev - three behind Internationale who drew at home to Lokomotiv Moskva.
