Italian soccer team Inter Milan said Saturday it has decided to cancel its pre-season tour of England after the recent terrorist bombings in London. "Football takes a step back because of increasing serious events which touch the sensitivity of everyone," the club said on its website. "For this reason, and given the situation, the club has decided to cancel the team's tour of England," it added. Inter had been due to play Portsmouth, Leicester, Norwich and Crystal Palace in July. Inter will continue pre-season preparations in Brunico next week, with a new series of friendly matches to be planned, the club added. (AP)
