India lose to Vancouver Whitecaps

The Indian football team has lost their first match of the Nations Cup against the host Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Indian football team has lost their first match of the Nations Cup against the host Vancouver Whitecaps. In the first match of the Nations Cup late on Wednesday night, coach Bob Houghton's team lost three goals to one. The Canadians scored twice before half-time before India pulled one back just before the break through Sunil Chhetri. However, the hosts though sealed the game in the 73rd minute. With this loss, India are out of contention for the title.
