India lost to Jamaica 0-3 in the first of the two friendly football matches in the JAMIN tour in Watford, England yesterday. After skipper Baichung Bhutia's goal in the 12th minute was ruled off-side, Jamaica took the lead in the 34th minute through Jermaine Anderson. India were trailing 0-1 at halftime, according to information received here today. Changing ends, but maintaining its dominance, Jamaica stretched the lead in the 72nd minute when goal keeper and captain Aaron Lawrence converted from the penalty spot following a foul on substitute Roland Dean. The Reggae Boyz then completed the tally when Ian Goodison scored the third goal, four minutes from time. India, playing Jamaica, as part of their preparation for the Busan Asian Games next month will play one more match in Wolverhampton on September 1. (PTI)
