Dundee, Scotland:

Thierry Henry scored the winner on debut after his penalty kick was saved in FC Barcelona's 1-0 friendly victory at Dundee United on Thursday.

A minute from the end at Tannadice Stadium, the Spanish side was awarded a spot kick when Terrors defender Darren Dods pulled down Giovanni dos Santos.

Henry took the penalty but United goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski blocked the shot, only for the Frenchman to hit in the rebound.

Signed from Arsenal a month ago, Henry made his appearance as a halftime substitute for Samuel Eto'o, and almost scored within half a minute, shooting wide of the post.
