Final 32 for World Cup 2006 decided
The 32 teams that have made it to the 18th FIFA World Cup in Germany have been decided.

The 32 teams that have made it to the 18th FIFA World Cup in Germany have been decided. From Asia, the usual suspects Iran, Japan, Saudi Arabia and South Korea have made it to the final 32. Four teams from Africa have qualified for the first time. These are Angola, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Togo. Europe has maximum 14 qualifiers. Germany have qualified automatically as hosts. Apart from that, three newcomers in the form of Czech Republic, Serbia & Montenegro and Ukraine have also qualified. From South America, Brazil and Argentina have qualified. Both the teams are amongst the favourites for the title. If France '98 had Jamaica, then Germany 2006 will have the calypso flavour from Trinidad & Tobago along with Costa Rica , Mexico and the United States Australia have finally made back after 32 years to the World Cup with the defeat of Uruguay.
