Real Madrid's Luis Figo's All Star side drew 1-1 against the World Stars at Faro Loule Stadium in the Algarve on Saturday, with teammate Ronaldo opening the scoring for the hosts in the charity match. The score remained 1-0 to Figo's team at the break until Yugoslav international Nenad Yestrovic scored the equaliser in the 66th minute. Things got off to a quick start when Real's Ronaldo scored in the 6th minute, with Abel supplying the cross from the right wing. These 'all star' affairs are usually a goal fest, but not in this case, with some particularly fine goal keeping from both sides. Ricardo making this save for Figo's team in the 12th minute. Close finish The score remained 1-0 at half time and despite several chances, neither side could score until the 66th minute when Jermaine Pennant made a brilliant run down the right, his cross finding Nenad Yestrovic. The Yugoslav international headed the ball into the back of the net to give the World Stars a well deserved goal. Although Figo had secret weapon, bringing on a spirited young lady by the name of Catia in the closing minutes, the score remained 1-1 at the final whistle.
