But the shock came from little known French club Sochaux Montbeliard, who put out 2001 finalists Borussia Dortmund 4-0, to go through 6-2 on aggregate On a bad night for German clubs, Schalke also exited on penalties to end Bundesliga interest in the UEFA Cup. But Bayern Munich could still end up in the competition if they finish third in their Champions League group.
