Mendizorroza:

Fourth placed Deportivo La Coruna snatched away a dramatic 3-2 victory from Alaves, who were second in the Primera Liga, on Saturday night. The home side Alaves looked to have secured a point with a fine comeback after falling behind to a brace of strikes from midfielder Amavisca. As the game culminated in a gripping climax, Deportivo grabbed victory with a last gasp goal from substitute Sergio. Once again the visitors took advantage of slipshod defending, with the midfielder slotting home in the final minute of normal time.
