Sur Club of Oman and Al Muharraq of Bahrain are the other two teams in Group A in Asia's second tier club competition to be played on home and away basis.
Dempo's next match in the preliminary round will be on March 18 when they travel to Oman to play against Sur Club.
Their other home matches are on April 2 against Al Muharraq and on May 14 against Sur Club while their other away matches are on April 16 against Al Muharraq and on April 30 against Al Ansar.
Dempo President Srinivas Dempo said the ONGC I-league and Super Cup triumphs have boosted the morale of his boys and they were aiming to extend their reputation beyond the country.
"The double crown has boosted the confidence and morale of the team and we now we aim to do well in the presitigious AFC Cup," Dempo said while addressing a press conference here today.
Coach Maurico Afonso also expressed confidence that his boys will do well in the tournament, though he was a bit concerned that three key players would miss the campaign opener.
"Our first match is important and we need to win to get a good start. Our injured key players -- defenders Mahesh Gawli, Valeriano Rebello and Medio Anthony Pereira -- would not play against Al Ansar, but they would be fit for the match against Sur Club," he said.
