Arsenal leftback Ashley Cole will be out for at least three weeks with a sprained ankle.

London:

Arsenal leftback Ashley Cole will be out for at least three weeks with a sprained ankle. Cole sustained the injury in a reserve game on Monday against second-team players from Tottenham. He has been recovering from a broken foot and a thigh injury. "It is on the left foot and it is nothing to do with the surgery he had before,'' Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said. "But it is still a pain that stops you from playing." Arsenal centerback Sol Campbell is also likely to be out for a few more weeks. Campbell has not played since injuring his ankle on February 1 in a 3-2 loss to West Ham. "I believe he will be out for another two weeks maximum," Wenger said. "One week to get back to full training and another week to get back for a run-out in a game." (AP)
