Milan:

AC Milan only need a draw against Schalke on Tuesday in order to qualify for the second round of the UEFA Champions League. However, the Italian team's coach Carlo Ancelotti said he wants his team to win so they can finish in first place in their group. The Champions League Group E has been one of the tightest in this year's competition. With just one match left to play, three teams could go through. Milan lead Group E on goal difference but are level with Schalke on eight points. PSV Eindhoven are third with seven points, followed by Fenerbahce with four. Last season's runner-ups are going for the win, which would give them first place in the group. Maldini doubtful AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini is doubtful for the match as he is yet to recover from a left leg injury. Milan did not have the best preparation for Tuesday's match, losing 2-1 at Chievo in the Italian Serie A at the weekend. However Ancelotti is confident that his side will bounce back from that defeat. (AP)
