Bhutia doubtful starter for Afro-Asian games

India's football captain Baichung Bhutia undergoes knee surgery in England

New Delhi:

Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia looks unlikely to play the inaugural Afro-Asian Games in Delhi in the first week of November. Bhutia, who is currently serving out the last year of his three-year contract with football club Bury in England, had knee surgery this weekend. He will be out of action for the next six to eight weeks. This is the second surgery that Bhutia has had in his career. The first one was in 1997 in Delhi.
